The PG Department of Commerce and Management Studies, KSHM Arts and Science College, organized an Investor Awareness Programme on 7th August 2025 (Thursday). The programme aimed to educate students about the importance of investment, financial planning, and awareness regarding the securities market.
The session was inaugurated by Dr. Abdul Bari. N, Principal of KSHM Arts and Science College. In his inaugural address, he highlighted the significance of financial literacy and encouraged students to develop sound investment habits for a secure financial future.
The resource person for the programme was Mr. Rayirath Venugopal, a SEBI Certified Trainer, who conducted the session on behalf of the National Stock Exchange (NSE). He provided valuable insights into various investment options, risk management, and investor rights and responsibilities. The interactive session helped students gain a better understanding of capital markets and the role of SEBI in protecting investors.
The programme concluded with an interactive Q&A session, during which students clarified their doubts regarding investment and stock market operations. The event was informative and beneficial, successfully promoting investment awareness among commerce and management students.
